Pacific State Bancorp Receives Market Cap Champion Award
(April 9, 2004 - PRNewswire via COMTEX) Steven A. Rosso, President & Chief Executive Officer of Pacific State Bancorp announced that the company was the recipient of the First Annual Carpenter & Company, Market Cap Champion 2003 Award for financial institutions in the $100 to $250 million asset class.

The Market Cap Champion's Award for 2003 was granted for Pacific State Bancorp's five-year stock appreciation of 292%.

The Award was presented at the California Bankers Association's Strategic Issues Summit that was co-sponsored by Carpenter & Company.

Carpenter & Company, Investment Bankers, is a 30-year-old Irvine based investment banking firm led by Edward Carpenter, Chairman & CEO. This is the third year that the summit was co-sponsored by the California Bankers Association and Carpenter & Company.
